Game Room - Word Association

This fun game involves an exchange of words that are associated with each other. Start playing by typing a word and wait for other members to type a word that is associated with it. Example: Hot – cold. Fire – truck. Sugar – sweet.

Start the game by posting two words that go together and type them in the room. Another member will change one word, and the next member will change one word, and so on. Example: Whipped cream – Cream cheese – Cheese enchilada – etc. Simple and fun!

Start the game by thinking of an item sold in a grocery store and type, 'IOAGS and in it I sell something that starts with the letter ‘C’'; (or the first letter of the item you selected). Members then try and guess the name of the item by typing in a grocery item that begins with the letter 'C' e.g. 'Cabbage'. The first Member who guesses the item correctly, wins the game. The winner can start the game over or type 'Pass' to let another Member restart the game.

Post a word that starts with ‘A,’ ending in ‘ing.’ Other members follow suit with a word that starts with ‘B,’ ending in ‘ing’ and so on. The game starts over after ‘Z.’ Example: Approving – Balancing – Closing – Dragging – etc. Some letters are a real challenge!

Start by thinking of a five-word sentence. Now type the letters that begin each of the five words in your sentence and wait for other Members to type a sentence using your letters ending with five more letters to continue the game. Rules for this surprisingly hilarious game: type a word for something that is NOT in your living room that starts with ‘A.’ Other members chime in with something that starts with ‘B’ and so on. The game starts over after ‘Z.’ You can use a whole sentence as long as the first word is in alphabetical order. Example: Anteater – Baboons ate my Pop Tarts! – Circus clowns – etc.
